The client needed to excavate approximately 70m trench to bury an exposed cable running across the site. This cable created tripping hazard for workers and was prone to damage by vehicle and foot traffic.
The proposed trench could not be excavated mechanically as it was located directly over high pressure gas main. There was good job site access and the job could be done off the boom, with no additional hose required.
Our experienced operators were able to adjust the jetting pressure to meet the requirements for excavation near and around critical services. During the excavation our operators uncovered an unknown service, that had no warning tape. With the job completed ahead of schedule the operators were able to complete another job for the client - a 2.4m deep pothole for an earth stake.
